Fluttering into 5!

As we begin a new year, I can’t help but pause to take a look back at my little family’s best memories of 2020. And without a doubt, my sweet little girl turning 5 years old was the highlight of my year! I’m sure I am not the only Mom that struggled to organize a birthday celebration that was special, yet safe for kids in the middle of a pandemic. So I called Maria, owner of Confetti Tepees, and asked her to help me plan a small and spectacular party!

Confetti Tepees transformed my living room into a magical space with touches of blush butterflies everywhere! Maria comes to your home, sets up, and returns after your party to collect the tepees.

Arabella invited two of her friends from her preschool bubble. To keep them safe but entertained, I scheduled a surprise zoom call with a Butterfly Princess from Princess Parties of DC. The girls were just so excited to see her and they enjoyed a fun story time!

The Big Little Party created custom crafts and a dessert table that was absolutely perfect for the girls.

Vanessa Placido designed this elegant and delicious birthday cake. And yes, the butterflies were edible!

I am so thankful to have found these women owned businesses (boss mamas) in the DMV that helped me give my daughter such a memorable celebration, right in the safety of our home.
